Latest NDIS Quarterly Report
This report is an overview of the performance and operations of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) for the 3 months from 1 July 2025 to 30 September 2025.
- Participants aged 15 years and older report an increase in participation in community and social activities
- 6-percentage point increase in families and carers reporting paid employment
- Of participants aged 15 and over who have been in the NDIS for over 2 years, 82% report having greater choice and control in their lives, up from 68% at first reassessment or check-in point.
- The NDIS now provides opportunity and choice for more than 751,000 Australian and their families.
New app reduces wait times for NDIS participants
A new web app developed by a University of Melbourne alum is dramatically reducing wait times for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) recipients by simplifying the process of finding practitioners. Melbourne-based startup Support Sorted connects NDIS participants with available clinicians including speech pathologists, occupational therapists and psychologists that match their individual needs.
